Update: 11 October 2021

Travel to Regional NSW from Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, Wollongong, and Shellharbour will not be permitted until stage 2 of reopening.

Entering NSW from interstate hotspots, such as Victoria, ACT & QLD is currently restricted and you should check the NSW State Government website for restrictions based on where you live.

In order to best protect our guests, community & staff, we are following the NSW Health Orders which means unvaccinated guests over the age of 16 are not allowed to enter the premises.  Guests will be required to provide proof of vaccination before they arrive.

Vaccination evidence includes:

  • an online immunisation history statement
  • a COVID-19 digital certificate from the Australian Immunisation Register
  • a medical exemption, which includes a medical clearance form.

Please note: These restrictions are expected to be eased at the 80% double dose milstone and again at the 90% double dose milestone (expected 1 December) and we will update this information when changes are formalised by NSW Health.

In addition to the above, guests must adhere to the current NSW Public Health Order rules which include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • complete a guest registration and declaration prior to entering the property
  • maintain social distancing of 1.5m from others
  • adhere to the 1 person per 4 square meter rule in common areas that are signed
  • practice good hand hygiene
  • follow any instructions issued by staff

Update: 1 June 2020

Little Palm Cabins is now open and taking bookings. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Please note that as COVID 19 is now considered a “known event”, bookings are made at your own risk.  We strongly recommend all guests ensure they have the appropriate level of insurance, should they need to cancel their booking due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.  Please read our Terms & Conditions for details on our Cancellation Policies.

Update: Effective 31 March 2020

Little Palm Cabins will be temporarily closed under under the  Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020.

Please note that all travel is currently restricted unless deemed ”essential” and you must stay at home unless you are going to:

  • work (where you can’t work remotely)
  • school or an educational institution
  • shop for food and essentials
  • get medical care or supplies
  • exercise

Announcement: 24 March 2020

Over the last few weeks we have been following the news closely and have been deliberating over concerns, surrounding closing our doors temporarily.  We know that our community’s health and also livelihoods, will be impacted by our closure and we have not taken the decision-making process lightly.

With the health, well being and safety of our staff and the broader community being of the utmost importance, have decided that the right thing to do in such uncertain times, is to temporarily close our calendar for future bookings for any stays up to 1 May 2020.  We are taking direct enquiries for any essential travel for those in need, however these requests will be assessed on a case by case basis.

With the ever changing health advisories and new information being released regularly, we are constantly assessing the situation and this decision may change at any time.  We will continue to act upon government directives and advisories but also in accordance with our personal beliefs and what we feel is “the right thing to do” in the circumstances.

We are offering flexibility with our cancellation policy and encourage all non-essential travellers to accept a credit note and postpone your stay.

Please continue to support one another with kindness and understanding.  There is no one size fits all solution and we encourage you all to act in the best interests of those around you.

If we all lose a little, no one needs to lose a lot.

Thank you for your understanding and support in these difficult times – we will all get through this together!

Stay safe,

Ben & Jess – Little Palm Cabins
